From Day 1, participants in basic mediation training will actively
practice and engage with the program. Learning is hands on, and
activities such as role-playing gives everyone the chance to feel what
it is like to be a mediator, rather than only understanding the theory
behind it. At the end of the process, all participants have the
knowledge and experiences to be expert facilitators and mediators. This
four-day workshop is taught by highly skilled and experienced
mediators, active in the dispute resolution field, and committed to the
best practices and continuing education. In four days you will gain an
understanding of alternative dispute resolution methods, community
mediation, learn a six-step facilitative mediation process, and much
more.
